Spiderweb Cookie Cake

  • 9” Round Baking Pan
  • 4-quart mixing bowl


  • 1 Stick 1/2 cup Butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Cups and 1 Tablespoon of Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 Cup M&Ms ideally fall colors
  • Tube of Frosting for Spiderweb
  • Plastic spiders optional


  • Preheat oven to 375º. Spray 9” Round Baking Pan.
  • Cream the butter and sugars in a large bowl. Add eggs and mix to combine. Add vanilla and mix well.
  • Add dry ingredients, and stir until incorporated. Mix in chocolate chips.
  • Add M&M's to top for a pop of color.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Cool and remove from pan if desired. Use icing to pipe on the spiderweb design (create a cross, then diagonal lines, and connect the lines). Add plastic spiders for effect if desired, but remove before serving.
  • Slice and serve!
