Green Bean Almondine

- 1-3/4 Quart Saucepan with Cover
- 7" Sauté Skillet
Ingredients
- Fresh Green Beans 1 lb. cut ends to remove
- Lemon Juice 1/2 of a lemon
- 1 Shallot Minced
- 2 Cloves of Garlic Minced
- 1/8 cup Sliced Almonds Crushed
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook green beans the waterless way: rinse & drain, then cover and cook on medium low until vapor escapes & cover easily spins.
- In a separate sauté pan, add the lemon juice and sauté the minced garlic and shallots in the juice for a few minutes or until slightly cooked. Add a pinch of salt.
- Once you turn the green beans to low, add sautéed garlic & shallot to the green beans and continue to cook with cover on.
- Plate & top with crushed almonds.
