Spiderweb Cookie Cake
Equipment
- 9” Round Baking Pan
- 4-quart mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 1 Stick 1/2 cup Butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 Cups and 1 Tablespoon of Flour
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 Cup M&Ms ideally fall colors
- Tube of Frosting for Spiderweb
- Plastic spiders optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375º. Spray 9” Round Baking Pan.
- Cream the butter and sugars in a large bowl. Add eggs and mix to combine. Add vanilla and mix well.
- Add dry ingredients, and stir until incorporated. Mix in chocolate chips.
- Add M&M's to top for a pop of color.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Cool and remove from pan if desired. Use icing to pipe on the spiderweb design (create a cross, then diagonal lines, and connect the lines). Add plastic spiders for effect if desired, but remove before serving.
- Slice and serve!
